The use of parametric design allows to redefine the facade of the Casino of Montréal with a hightened sensitivity to the dynamic environment in which it is set. In this case, it allows to modulate each louver such that it responds best to its very specific position while still responding to the ensemble. This creates a new architecture with a wide range of different moments intrinsically related to each others and their environment.

The following iteration of the casino facade intends to develop further the qualities of the louvers by relating them to the flows happening within the casino and the surround¬ing context. It has a functionnal purpose as it modulates the density and orientation of the louvers according to the path of the sun.
